Radio Eden is a 24-hour radio network that primarily focuses on Christian programming. It is a satellite-only digital radio service based in Wombwell[2], near Barnsley in the UK. Programming consists of a repeating schedule of pre-recorded material from different Christian and secular broadcast sources.
Radio Eden launched on satellite Eurobird 9A covering Europe and parts of the Middle East and North Africa in November 2008.[3]
In February 2010 the station expanded further into the Middle East, Africa and into Asia with C band coverage on the Intelsat 10 satellite.[4]
In June 2010 further coverage was added via the Galaxy 19 satellite over North America.[5]
In July 2010 the station joined the Glorystar programme guide.[6]
